Lucia Isabella Jackson "Sweet Angel"

Lucia Isabella Jackson

"LUCY"

Park City

2006 - 2008

Lucia Isabella Jackson, "Lucy", of Park City, UT , passed away at Primary Children's Hospital, Thursday, May 22, 2008, after a tragic accident.

Lucy was born June 11, 2006, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Victor Michael and Molly Bice Jackson.

Lucy fell in love with Peter Pan and Captain Hook after watching her mother fly above the stage in the role of Peter. Lucy loves "juiccccce", jumping, dancing, feeding horses, playing with friends and family. Her little body wasn't big enough for her exhuberant and lively spirit which illuminated all who met her. Her name means "light" and she lives up to her name in every way.

Lucy is survived by her parents, Vic and Molly, grand-parents, Le and Marlene Jackson and Russell and Nancy Bice, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who love her. We anxiously await her glorious resurrection so we can be together again.

We are so grateful to the wonderful doctors and staff at Primary Children's Hospital who took such good care of our little Lucy during her last few days in mortality. We have felt the love and prayers of family, friends, and caring communities who held and sustained us during these difficult days. Thank you.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Park City LDS Stake Center 2300 Monitor Drive beginning at 11:00 am. A viewing for friends and family will be held Monday, May 26, from 6 to 8 pm at the Kimball Ward Building, 2555 W. Kilby Rd., and at the Park City Stake Center from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Tuesday morning. Burial will be at the Salt Lake City cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, friends have established a special fund. Donations to the "Lucy Jackson Fund" will be accepted at any Utah branch of Chase Bank. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.holbrookmortuary.com

Zoo Pics!

We had a great time! The train was a big hit! Brielle drank from a Lions head and she was not quite as big as the gorilla wall! Oh yea how do u like the random couple picture I think it is hilarious.

Fun at the ZOO!!!

We went to the Zoo on Saturday, and had a great time! The weather was great cool but not rainy. The kids loved it and Brielle already wants to go back. That Jaguar or Leopard whatever scared the heck out of Brielle she jumped like two feet!! ahahahah It was hilarious@!

Cousins!

We had lots of fun hanging out with the cousins! Brielle loves her cousin Brooke or (Brookie). Of course we all love the new baby, Zane! I took a picture and he spit up right at the same time. Classic!!!!!!

Doing what Milius' do best, EAT!

We recently celebrated Mimis (David's Moms) birthday, 61 years young. We went to Red Lobster and it was yummy! Great to go off the diet even if it was just one meal!!!

Backyard Fun!

Last week we had some really great weather so we took advantage. We colored with 3D chalk, played on our swingset and played with a bubble machine which is great 1000 bubbles a minute no more blowing for Mommy. (It is always great to see your kids enjoy the $500 dollar swing set!) yea!

UPDATE! Little Lucy!

I am sorry to inform you that little Lucy Jackson will be running into the open arms of our Heavenly Father sometime tomorrow. As you can imagine the brain scan showed that she was deprived of oxygen for approx. 45-60 min. before being resuscitated. There was not much if any brain activity the last 48 hours and her family has decided to let her go. She was surrounded by lots of family today who wanted to hold her and say their goodbyes before tomorrow. As you can imagine her family is in complete shock and horror about the events that have transpired over the last three days but hopefully they will feel the love of their Heavenly Father and be comforted.
I myself have been reflecting over the last few days about this tragedy and been quite upset. Life is so precious and it can change in a second. I am so grateful for my family and the health of my children. Though we have had our set of challenges (who doesn't right) I feel extremely blessed for everything I have. I know that little Lucy must have been a special spirit to be so needed in Heaven at such a young age.
I myself, will, and have been praying for her family to feel comfort at this time and to feel the love of the Savior, they will see her again I believe it with my whole being!

Pray for 2-Year Old Lucy Jackson!!

Over the weekend in Park City, UTAH a two year old little girl named, Lucy Jackson choked on an apple in the foyer of her church building. Being that the fire station was right next door they immediatly went for help but they were out on another call. When helped finally arrived and after thousands of attempts to free the apple she was airlifted to the Hospital. She was without oxygen for atleast 25 minutes that we have heard but is now on life support and believed to be brain dead. They doctors beleive that if she were to wake from her coma she would have severe retardation because of the time her brain was deprived! As all of you mothers can imagine her mother is a hysterical mess. They did a brain scan last night and are waiting on results to see if there is any activity to continue keeping her alive. There has been a fast going on that started at 6 pm yesterday and ends today in hopes that what is the will of the Lord will be. Please keep her family in your prays that they may feel comfort during this time of sorrow and find solace in the fact that, "FAMILIES R FOREVER!!"

I will keep everyone posted as to news! (We should find out today what they will do, because they can only donate her organs within the next 24 hours)

P.S. Always cut apples really small!!

Front Yard!

Our front yard is almost finished! A little more wood chips, a bush and maybe a few annuals and I think we will be finished. I already have some Purple lilac's, some tulips that are at the end of their blooming season, but you can see some bulbs popping up underneath them, I think those one are Lilies!! I am so excited. Oh and our Rose of Sharon Tree is starting to bud so by August we should have a beautiful flowering tree. Oh yea and of course the grass is beautiful. David loves is and is proud of course to him it is the greenest in the neighborhood! (Though he does not like how fast it grows!

U can take the kid out Da Hood but you cant take Da Hood out the Kid!

Even though Dawson was born here he still has California blood in him. He is a little gansta! Mad doggin and throwing up gang signs, I hope this is not a sign of things to come! hahahahah I thought he looked so cute in his Daddy's beanie!

Mother's Day!

It was nice as far as Mothers Day goes. We went to my parents house were my Dad and David cooked the dinner and cleaned it all. David also cooked breakfast for me and taught primary so I did not have to. Nice Bob. I am just not a big fan of the holiday but whatever.

Davids New Hair!

David and I have really been feeling like we need a change! So he cut his hair! What do you all think? I am sure the funeral industry will love it! (Especially all the shoulder hair) hahahaha

Ohh to be in High School!

My sister Karrah went to prom a few weeks ago and I did her hair! I think it turned out really cute what do you all think? Her dress is not very Mormon appropriate but we did not want to spend $250 bucks on a dress, so whatever! Plus we are from Cali where less is more! hahaahaha
